Paul Hanke is Co-Founder of Transformance, the AI-native order-to-cash platform for enterprise finance teams. He leads go-to-market, working with finance leaders to scope, structure, and close engagements that turn AR and deductions backlogs into measurable cash recovered.
Paul started his career in strategy consulting at Boston Consulting Group, where he advised leadership teams across multiple sectors on transformation and growth programs. He then spent over five years in Enterprise AI and Software, leading customer engagements across industries from telecoms, CPG, chemicals, automotive and more.
That stretch shaped his conviction that most enterprise AI fails commercially not because the models are weak, but because implementations are pushed top-down rather than built around the daily workflow of the team that has to live with them. Accounts Receivable is the clearest example: cash application, deduction handling, and dunning all have their own cadence, exception patterns, and decision rights, and any tool that ignores them gets worked around rather than adopted. Transformance is the answer to that observation: AI agents productised for the people who already own the workflow, not engineered to replace them.
He is a graduate of Leiden University and HEC Paris. Paul has lived in five countries and speaks four languages.
In his youth he was a competitive middle-distance runner, picking up several state medals. He credits that background for an intrinsic drive to become a little better every day, a habit he brings to how Transformance approaches customer outcomes.
Paul is based in Hamburg, Germany, where Transformance is headquartered.
